This six-classroom addition was the result of an initial conceptual study that explored locations and configurations to best determine how to add to the existing school building with limited site options. Given the restrictions, the location on the southeast corner of the building proved to be the best connection to the existing building’s circulation while allowing relatively easy access and staging for the contractor. The design incorporated complimentary exterior materials and massing to successfully integrate the new addition into the fabric of the existing campus.
